Elio

Elio was challenging in an entirely different way. I was moved from my comfort zone of special effects and assigned to work in the simulation department. While this was something brand new for me, I rose to the occasion and faced those challenges with a brand new team. I learned so much, and gained a new appreciation for the art of cloth simulation. There’s a good amount of crossover with character animation as well, like timing, silhouette, and an eye for detail. Since my workload on this show was much larger, the most valuable skills I learned was triaging shots, and knowing when to start over
